Photo Of New Blackberry A10 Leaks Onine (See Photo)

This is the BlackBerry A10, the next major smartphone release from BlackBerry that is expected to arrive later this year. Based on recent events, It may be one of the most important releases of the year.

The BlackBerry A10, codenamed Aristo, is said to be a mix of the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. The phone is linked to the Z10 because it is all touch-screen display, but the back of the phone will reportedly have a glass-weave similar to the Q10. A screenshot associated with the leaked image signals that it will run the upcoming BlackBerry 10.2 software. The A10 is also important because it will be the largest BlackBerry 10 device thanks to a 5-inch, 720p Super AMOLED display. The A10 is expected to have a dual-core processor despite the rise in quad-core competition from Android and an expected quad-core Windows Phone 8 device to be released later this year.

According to BGR, which first published the above photo, the BlackBerry A10 will be released later this fall. The A10 could potentially have a defining role for BlackBerry's annual reports because the company has so far struggled to see signs of a long-term recovery.

Why Blackberry Q10 Is The Best Blackberry Ever: BB Q10 VS Z10 Review

First of all, forget all the story that is below this article, i just wanted to pass across the info that bb Q10 is the best blackberry RIM Done did! Secondly, i get the z10 is fresh and all oo, but it just has that iPhone swagun! The swag doesnt fit a blackberry at all, we all know that "Blackberry Messenger" is the main thing on every bb sha ? and in my opinion i cant be touching screen to chat better chat, it aint sweet in any way man, that's basically what f*cks up the z10 for me, the Q10 is awesome, although from a distance it may look like a bold 5, but that phone is too mad, the bbm is very different, the os is cray, the packaging is fresh, plus the battery life is awesome!! You can watch the video below, and watch how Mobileburn compares both phones

See Confam Grammar Review Below:

Choosing between the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10 would appear to be a simple task. One smartphone is a touchscreen device that's great for media consumption and still has enough productivity to meet the needs of work and play. The other BB10 smartphone has a QWERTY keyboard that provides physical feedback and gives users the touch-oriented input option they crave. The physical keyboard has fallen out of favor in the smartphone world, but the BlackBerry Q10 has stubbornly found a way to carve a niche for itself in today's all-touch environment.

Despite the seeming simplicity of choices and distinguishing form factors, picking between the Q10 and Z10 is not as easy as it looks. The two 10s actually share quite a bit when it comes to hardware. Both phones have a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal and 32GB external storage options, micro USB and micro HDMI ports, and an 8-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel front camera. The phones are remarkably similar from an internal standpoint, and even their button positioning mirror each other.

The BlackBerry paths diverge when comparing displays and battery. The BlackBerry Z10 has a wonderful 4.2-inch 720p LCD display while the Q10 has only a 3.1-inch 720x720 Super AMOLED display. The BlackBerry Z10 is by far the more desirable screen because of its size advantage. The 15:9 aspect ratio is far better for browsing the web, viewing photos, and watching videos, three of the most important factors of using a smartphone. Throw in the built-in advantage when comparing gaming options and the Z10 emerges as the clear winner.

The easy answer to picking the best BlackBerry is that if you love a physical keyboard, the BlackBerry Q10 is the way to go; if you love a big beautiful screen and having more app options, the BlackBerry Z10 is for you.

Dominate9ja Review (The Battle Of The Androids): HTC One vs Sony Xperia Z vs Samsung S4

I decided to review this because of the continous controversy going on and on and on about these two phones, sorry three phones: The Almighty HTC One, The Ironman Sony Xperia Z And Err Samsung Galaxy S4.

First of all, let me give yall a side note: Samsung Galaxy S4 doesn't deserve to be in this comparison, forget about what they have been telling you, it can record africa, if you look away it turns off, it has gorilla screen, blah blah blah all that one na BUGA!! So S4 Users Please & Please, dont carry your phone outside and be forming with it, if yall know any s4 user that can say it is better than the other two phones, Call him up lemme interview him.

Ehen! Back To The Matter:
Let Us First Take A Good Look At These Two Phones, Sorry Three!

SAMSUNG GALAXY S4:

HTC ONE:

SONY XPERIA Z:

Q1: ABEG READERS, IF THEY GIVE YOU THESE THREE PHONES AND ASK YOU TO CHOOSE ONE, WHICH ONE YOU GO PICK???

Now Lets Review Their Special Speculations:

1)Samsung Galaxy S4: To Me, why this phone is nothing special, we've all seen this before, Samsung S DUOS = Swaguu Dripping , Samsung S2 = Same Swaguu, Samsung S3 = Same Old Swaggun, And Now S4 = Same Old F*cking Swagun! Lol Excuse my localness.

Secondly, Its the most expensive out of all of them, Maka Why ? Okay yeah there's lot of techiness into it and umm the packaging is plastic.

It has a five-inch touchscreen which offers a resolution of 1,920x1,080p -- the same as the Xperia Z and both screens offer 441ppi, while the smaller screen of HTC One's Offers 468ppi. Note That O!

Samsung's TouchWiz interface is even more intrusive than HTC's Touch. It's packed with extras, including 36 preloaded apps with everything from S Health (which uses the phone's barometer and motion sensor to track your general health) to WatchON (which uses infrared tech to turn your phone into a universal remote), many of which you can add to the programmable side bar. There's an advanced range of gesture controls such as Smart Scroll, which scrolls through a page of text as you tilt the phone and Smart Pause, which pauses the video you're watching if you look away -- Cool Right??, but most times it doesn't work. Note That Too!

There's also the picture-in-picture feature that allows you to watch a video in the corner of the screen while you're doing something else, like checking your email or browsing the web. Very Cool!

The 13-megapixel camera marks pretty much the apex of Samsung's steadily developing camera know-how. There's an impressive suite of options both pre and post-shooting, which will keep the happy snappers busy, but don't get in the way of point-and-shoot, since the automatic settings will be more than acceptable for most. Unusual modes include Eraser, which allows you to edit out unwanted moving elements in a pic, such as passers-by, and Drama takes several pictures of a moving subject and lets you combine them into a single pic with a still background. Gimmicks aside, pictures are sharp and detail-heavy and it's certainly the best camera here.

And Outta Em three phones, S4 is the only one with preloaded OS 4.3. The others have to be manually upgraded.

Okay thats my review for Samsung Galaxy S4 and no offence but i'll Call It A Video Camera, cos of its 13 mega pixels, the Smart Pause, Watch On, all those things would be cray on a video camera, sorry but we dont need that here , and again that phone can Scratch For Africa, yall know its plastic right?
*throws phone into dustbin"

Next Up!

2) HTC ONE:

First Off, Lemme say that "If This Phone Was A Lady, All Of You Will TRIP!!!" Cos this phone is *muah, especially the white one, behind this gorgeous lady is "Beats Audio" Tattooed On Her, i.e Even Dr.Dre Recommends this phone to yallll.

HTC has always made a virtue of build quality and the One makes the most of that heritage.
It's a little smaller than the others, making it more friendly for ya pocket!, but it's distinguished by its metal unibody casing which is the equal of the iPhone 5 for class and heavy duty build.

I saw a youtube video, where they threw this phone off a train, very liil scratch, they heated it in a microwave, shii was still standing, they did some pretty harsh stuff to it, shii was still standing, i'll prolly post the video later on, so watch out!

Its display offers an HD resolution of 1,920x1,080p -- the same as its two rivals in this test, but with its slightly smaller screen measuring 4.7 inches it's arguably a little bit sharper, delivering an eyeball-piercing (not literally) 468ppi.

It looks lovely with some nice, smooth animations, and extra widgets include BlinkFeed, which offers a Flipboard-type service that pulls together your favourite media and social networking updates into a magazine-style interface.

Its camera is 4 Mega Pixels - which is small compared to the others, but HTC has pointed out that picture quality isn't necessarily dependent on the number of pixels, and instead made great play of its large F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens. The idea is that less, but bigger, "Ultrapixels" on a larger sensor will let in more light and so result in better pictures. Cool Init ??

HTC has been incorporating a very basic version of the Beats Audio processing technology and headphones into its handsets for a while now but the One takes it a stage further with good-sounding stereo speakers on the front, especially handy for movie watching.

Out of the three, the HTC One's Graphics is literally heaven, samsung s4 is too green, i still dont get it!

There you go, that is the HTC One for ya!

Next Up!

3) Sony Xperia Z:

First i'll like to say, despite how much i hate this phone cos of one guy like that, This Phone Is Magnificient!!! i gotta hand it to Sony for this one!!

The Body of this phone is Toughhh!! Choi, With toughened glass front and back it's also water and dust-resistant. That just kills It!
And most especially, Its The Cheapest Outta All Of Em -- A Typical Nigerian man's Dream!!

Although the Xperia Z's processor is the least powerful here. Clocked at 1.5GHz it's behind the One's 1.7GHz and the S4's 1.9GHz, though all three are supported by a full 2GB of RAM memory. And they are all fast, you won't notice the difference!

The camera is 13.1 mega pixels and its really really sharp! It has an impressive range of modes and features including Sony's Exmor R sensor, designed to improve the quality of pics taken in low light, as well as touch focus, face detection and image stabilisation.

All three phones stated here have short battery lives, they cant last more than one day!

Conclusion:
Out of these three phones, A Typical Nigerian Would Pick The Sony Xperia Z. Thats the best answer for yall.

But I will choose the HTC One Anyday, That Phone Defines Class! And Umm HTC Has got my heart!

And Err I know some people will still be decieved by the S4 Smart This & Smart That, that one na for ya pocket!

And Err Lemme fuck the Sony Xperia Up a lil, Although its water resistant, No normal Nigerian can test that phone by leaving it in water for long. #JustSaying

Instagram Lauches "Video On Instagram"

video on instagram

Instagram, the immensely popular photo-sharing app that was acquired by Facebook in a $1 billion deal last year, is not just for photos anymore.

At a press event at Facebook’s Menlo Park headquarters, Instagram’s co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom debuted a new feature called, simply, “Video On Instagram.” This lets people create 15-second videos to share on the service. The feature includes simple editing capabilities as well as 13 new filters, which were specially created for video.

“What we did to photos, we just did to video,” Systrom said.

This feature, which is rolling out to all Instagram users on iOS and Android today, will impact a huge number of people due to Instagram’s current reach. Systrom said today that Instagram has 130 million monthly users, who have shared 16 billion photos to date. Engagement on the app is high: Over 1 billion “likes” are added to the service every day.

This confirms our scoop from earlier this week, and also puts an end to the years-long search for an “Instagram for video” that has spawned a number of new startups aiming to fill the gap — Instagram is now the Instagram for video, quite literally. None of the existing apps in the mobile video market have yet to become the definite winner from an adoption perspective, so it will be interesting to see how this takes on with the mainstream.

Indeed, this is a clear move that pits Facebook more firmly against Twitter, which acquired its own short-form video-sharing app called Vine last year. This morning Vine went on the offense, announcing a slate of new features.

In response to a question about why Instagram chose the 15 second time frame, as opposed to the six-second videos offered by Vine, Systrom said that 15 seconds was “an artistic choice” and stressed that he doesn’t necessarily say that one is better than the other. “It’s that Goldilocks moment. It feels just right.”

This is the biggest change in what Instagram fundamentally is since the service first launched nearly three years ago. Systrom has said in the past that video could be in Instagram’s future, but has stressed that video adds challenges that are not presented by photos. In an interview with the Verge last fall, Systrom was asked why video-sharing apps haven’t taken off in the same way that photo-sharing apps have. He said: “I think it’s a combination of data speed limitations and the time it takes to watch a video. Videos are a very difficult medium to be good at, and also a difficult medium to consume quickly.”

Presumably, being a part of a company with Facebook’s resources has enabled Instagram to finally build a feature that rises to video’s challenges. During a Q&A session following the Video On Instagram launch, Systrom said that adding video was a “significant feat” from a server and infrastructure engineering perspective.

Here is a video of Video On Instagram at work:

REVIEW: E3 - AN ANDROID GAMING CONSOLE/TABLET

The tablet itself runs Android 4.2, display through a seven-inch, 1280 x 800 IPS screen. The rear sports a brushed aluminum surface and a 5-megapixel camera (with a 2.0 module on the front). Inside, you’ve got 8GB of storage and a 1.6GHz quad-core chip. Unu does Bluetooth 4.0 and has two micro-USB ports, a microSD slot and, most importantly, a mini-HDMI port, which lets you turn the thing into a living room console of sorts, by connecting it to your HDTV. If you’re feeling fancy, you can go in for the docking station, which does video out and charging — and also props the tablet up nicely, so you can watch the same thing on two displays at the same time.

All said, there doesn’t seem to be a lot separating the Unu from the competition, though the company’s pick up and go approach to plugging into TVs could have some appeal for larger households. The price isn’t too bad either, at $200 for the base Media Edition and $250 for the Gaming edition. Both will be available later this summer.

Samsung Galaxy S4 vs iPhone 5 vs BlackBerry Z10 vs HTC One vs Nokia Lumia 920 vs Sony Xperia Z

Samsung Galaxy S IV is finally here. Samsung trumpeted the much-anticipated phone's arrival Thursday at an event accompanied by a live orchestra while an audience of thousands watched the theatrics unfold on a four-level stage. Summoning up a touch of Broadway, Samsung employed 17 actors to demonstrate the new phone's features in a series of scripted vignettes.

The Galaxy S 4, which crams a 5-inch screen into body slightly smaller than the S III's, will go sale starting April.

Samsung didn't say what the phone will cost, but it can be expected to start at $200 with a two-year contract in the U.S. That's comparable to the iPhone 5.

JK Shin, the executive in charge of Samsung's mobile communications division, promised the money would be well spent for a "life companion" that will "improve the way most people live every day."

Teach Yourself JAVA In 21 Days [PDF]

ENTER YOUR EMAIL IN THE COMMENT SECTION AND RECIEVE PDF IN YOUR INBOX

Hello and welcome to Teach Yourself Java in 21 Days! Starting today and for the next three weeks
you’ll learn all about the Java language and how to use it to create applets, as well as how to create
stand-alone Java applications that you can use for just about anything.
An applet is a dynamic and interactive program that can run inside a Web page displayed
by a Java-capable browser such as HotJava or Netscape 2.0.
The HotJava browser is a World Wide Web browser used to view Web pages, follow links, and
submit forms. It can also download and play applets on the reader’s system.
That’s the overall goal for the next three weeks. Today, the goals are somewhat more modest,
and you’ll learn about the following:
n What exactly Java and HotJava are, and their current status
n Why you should learn Java—its various features and advantages over other programming
languages
n Getting started programming in Java—what you’ll need in terms of software and
background, as well as some basic terminology
n How to create your first Java programs—to close this day, you’ll create both a simple
Java application and a simple Java applet!
What Is Java?
Java is an object-oriented programming language developed by Sun Microsystems, a company
best known for its high-end Unix workstations. Modeled after C++, the Java language was
designed to be small, simple, and portable across platforms and operating systems, both at the
source and at the binary level (more about this later).
